My background was in Sales and Marketing in the Hospitality Industry.

At the age of 53, I decided it was time to follow my dream of owning my own business. I chose consignment after my research discovered a need in the Fredericton area. My background in sales and marketing gave me the experience and confidence to turn this idea into reality. My Closet Consignment was Incorporated in July 2017 and we opened our doors to record breaking crowds in September 2017.

I have loyal customers and consignors who continue to bring me their business, helping me to achieve over 150% of my financial projections in the first year. I have added two new partnerships, with Lavish Olive Studios and Little Rugged Barn, that have resulted in increased foot traffic and increased sales. I currently employee 2 full-time and 4 part-time staff.

My Closet’s community involvement is very strong and results in four very deserving local charities receiving much needed gently used clothes on a regular basis. I have also donated several gift certificates to local organizations for fundraising events.
