Up-sized, down-sized, right-sized … you name it – the world has delivered new ways to shake me, break me, and re-build me. Learning at the feet of Bay Street titans in my twenties, I’m very fortunate to have had the opportunity to continue to develop my skills and expertise in the corporate world, learnings I eagerly bring to my clients.
Seeing a need for business owners and professionals to be championed, mentored and supported in their work and home lives, my business was launched with passion and excitement at the age of 50!
I’m proud to be a member and published through the hand selected network of the Forbes Coaches Council, a group of distinguished professional, business and leadership coaches. Just one more way I share my knowledge with others.
Learning is one of my passions and I blend traditional and non-traditional studies; am an accredited coach with the International Coaching Federation and have studied for over 20 years with my Métis Elders, further practising and extending my crafts through the Reiki discipline.
Honoured to have been nominated for a YWCA Women of Distinction Award and the 2018 Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade’s Business Excellence Award, I’m the proud recipient of the Fab Female Entrepreneurette award for Business and Finance. I also give to my community locally through the Board of Trade and the Business Advisory Centre of Durham and internationally through the Action For Happiness, an organization endorsed by the Dalai Lama and the United Nations. As a volunteer with the Humanitarian Coaches Network, I have the privilege of coaching staff of global Non-Governmental Organizations. I’ve served as a Big Sister and as a business mentor with Junior Achievement, Ontario.
