My interest has always been to give back to the community, especially honouring “mother earth”. My early businesses incorporate that philosophy. Paying homage to mother earth through recognizing the power of “re-purposing” and “re-using” those things around us. Subsequently, this led me to growing successful recycling and automotive businesses.

At the age of 63, I developed iotProximity, a technology start-up in Ottawa, Canada, to save lives – a driving force dear to my heart. Dedicated to developing an integrated 4-level technology solution (Sensor fusion, Electromagnetic, AI smart camera, Lidar/Radar) to create a “virtual safety barrier” for large global construction projects – with the goal of reducing accidents and saving lives on-site.

iotProximity continues to grow and reach out to support those working on large construction sites in the extraction industry. The future gets brighter each day.

Dedication to “saving lives” plays an important part in my life, given some of my family members have survived several world wars and escaped horrific atrocities.
