I have always been a storyteller and a lover of those who tell their own stories. After 30 years in broadcasting I found a way to continue servicing my community.

I started Podcast Atlantic at the age of 58 because I was frustrated when I tried to find podcasts produced in the Atlantic Region. The Podcast Atlantic directory now boosts over 105 podcasts with more coming onboard every week. I also use my years of community television training to help others produce their own podcasts.

Why would I start this business at the age of 58? Well the obvious reason is that I had no idea I was “old” and I knew that I had lots more to give the community. When I was a tv producer at the local community channel my greatest satisfaction was when I was able to help individuals or organizations get their message out.

Podcast Atlantic is still new. The directory is less than eight months old and has just begun to shine.

The next year promises to bring more podcasts to the forefront. Podcast Atlantic will be releasing podcasts produced by the in-house production team.
