I was a CSR at a glass company for 25 years. I did everything clerical as well as help install windshields, if necessary.

I was 60 when I started my business. I retired from the glass company one day and started my own business a couple of days later.

I love the community I live in. We (my daughter who is now a partner in the business) have set up the wig program in the back of the shop for cancer patients. We regularly donate to local charities by donating gift baskets and gift certificates. We help new businesses to get started by taking handmade consignment items for sale in the shop.

We love to talk to everyone who comes through the door, and have made many new friends in the community.

As well, serving on the economic development board to help improve our community, the museum board, and now the Hospital Auxiliary. It is important to give back, and I think we are achieving that.
