Bill Pratt – Chef Inspired Group of Restaurants

www.chefinspired.ca

Prior to opening my first restaurant, after 27 years of service I retired from the Canadian Forces in 2008 as the Command Food Services Chief, managing all the cooks in the Canadian Navy. After my Navy career, I did some consulting work and acted as the Director of Hospitality at MacDonald Island Park in Fort McMurray (the largest sporting facility in Western Canada) before returning to the east coast.

I started ANG Franchising at 52 years of age when I realized the highly successful food concepts I created “at home” were duplicable in other markets.

In just a few years franchising, our brands are now in three Nova Scotia markets and one New Brunswick market. Through franchising, I am not only expanding my restaurants across the country, I am gaining new partners, and friends, who are extensions of my brands and corporate culture, and of this I am extremely proud.

My goal in creating these restaurants was to provide fresh, high quality, and unique food choices for people while at the same time creating employment and supporting local suppliers – giving each franchisee the opportunity to strengthen their local economy. Our restaurants are also heavy supporters of local charities, particularly local food banks.
